We have a big day planned, kicking off tomorrow, on Saturday the 24th August.

Starting at midday with our Mini / Junior age group. They will be taking advantage of a visiting Northampton Saints coach for the afternoon where they will learn some new skills. Following that and kicking off at 2pm will be a memorial match between an S&L mixed team and a mixed services team.

The game is being played in memory of our team mate and friend, Sean Wall, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Taking part for the Services team will be players from the Fire Service, the Navy and the RAF.

The BBQ will be lit and there will be refreshments available. We have also recently reinstalled the BIG Screen so will be showing the England v Ireland game. Our refurbishments are almost complete, with thanks to grants form Mick George and CBC, so why not come and see what significant improvements have been made to the social space and kitchen.

The day is open to all. So if you have children who would like to take part in the Saints training then please bring them along. Then stay for the afternoon to enjoy the rugby and refreshments.

We look forward to sharing the day with you.
