Our U9s played a hard-fought couple of matches against strong opposition this weekend. Despite the scorelines, the team showed they are playing consistently and correctly, sticking to the game laws and age-grade skills perfectly.
It was a physical day, and while we took a few knocks, the squad showed great character. Confidence is building within this great bunch of kids, and every player played their part. As it was a total team effort to keep battling against good teams, no single Player of the Match was selected—well done to the whole squad for their resilience!

It was a superb day of rugby for the U10s, securing three wins from three games. The coaches were delighted to see strong teamwork coming to the forefront, with every member of the squad getting their hands on the ball and putting in top-tier effort.
The team is really developing their technical skills, showcasing outstanding runs, solid tackling, and vastly improved rucking. A great game from all sides and a proud day for the club.

Rugby St Andrews 9 – 1 S&L U13s
The boys took the trip to Rugby St Andrews for what proved to be a challenging fixture. Captain Jaq led from the front, rallying the team throughout the match.
We conceded early, which gave the opposition momentum, but the S&L boys stuck to their task and continued to play hard against a well-drilled side. Jayden provided the highlight for S&L, crossing the line for a well-earned try. A tough result, but plenty of learning points to take into training next week.

S&L U15s 33 – 5 Bugbrooke (Cup)
S&L U15s delivered a dominant and disciplined performance to claim a decisive victory over Bugbrooke in their cup encounter. The tone was set early when Caleb opened the scoring with a brilliant finish following sustained pressure from the forwards and sharp handling from the backs.
Toby was in unstoppable form, powering over for a fantastic hat-trick. His combination of strength and work rate caused constant problems for the defense. Harry orchestrated the game beautifully, adding a well-taken try and slotting four conversions to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Bugbrooke battled hard for a consolation try, but S&L’s defensive resilience ensured the gap remained wide. A superb win built on teamwork, intensity, and excellent finishing.
