Fantastic teamwork and unstoppable spirit define a stellar away outing for the S&L Under 10s
The Under 10s took to the road for an action-packed fixture against Stoneygate, playing two highly competitive fifteen-minute halves. The squad flew out of the blocks in the first game, stringing together superb passes and making brilliant breaks to cross the line for a few quick, early tries. Stoneygate rallied to make it a fiercely contested match, resulting in a well-earned draw. What impressed the most, however, was the togetherness and fluid support play from the entire S&L squad.
After a quick, positive halftime team talk, the team elevated their performance even further in the second game. The ball movement was fantastic, and the collective defensive effort was absolutely first-class, effectively neutralizing the opposition's attacks. As the clock wound down, the team’s determination was rewarded with a sensational, powerful run through the defense to score a superb try.
Special mention goes to Amelia, who embodied the rugged rugby spirit by casually handing her coach a lost tooth and carrying right on with the match! It was a fantastic display of team spirit all around, brilliantly led by Captain Finn.
