This week, S&L U15s travelled to Wellingborough for a game on Saturday. Earlier in the season the teams played each other and it was a very close game, with only one score between them. History repeated itself this week!
S&L started strongly, playing some excellent rugby, with the lads showing that the extra work on rucking speed paying off. Wellingborough fought back hard and at half time it was 14-10 to S&L.
The second half continued in a similar fashion with S&L and Boro fighting hard. Unfortunately, as the game wore on, Boro got a bit of a foothold and two quick tries late in the game saw them come out with the result, 25-19. S&L tries scored by Sol, Rhys and Dylan. Two conversions from Grayson.
Another incredibly hard fought game between two very evenly matched teams, who enjoyed each others company afterwards whilst watching the England vs Scotland 6Ns game.
This Friday sees the team host Stoneygate for some Friday night lights. Come along to show your support, kick off at 7.30pm, bar opens at 6.30pm.
