On Monday 20th January 2020, the club hosted a 'Safeguarding - Play it Safe' course. 11 of our coaches and volunteers who support our Mini & Junior sections were in attendance and we were also joined by a coach from Oakham Rugby Club. Our Safeguarding officer, Tom Manson, would like to pass on his thanks to everyone who attended and to Steve Minney, from the East Midlands RFU, for an informative evening to help us protect our players and club members.

If you are a club coach or hold DBS vetting from the club and have not completed the course in the last 2 years, you are asked to attend one before the end of the season. You can book on the RFU website under Governance then go to Safeguarding and then courses (click here) and locate a suitable venue and date. You will need to pay £20 that the club will reimburse on proof of payment.

Thanks to all our volunteers who continue to support our club.
