U9’s v St Neots - Away

Great game today as we played on the max sized pitch, and everyone played really well. Some great attacking rugby, and the tackling is getting there. Support play was good as well.

Playing 2x16 minutes even with both teams having no subs was great to see. Some excellent tries scored, and some wonderful try saving tackles. Man of the Match was the whole team. Rugby was the winner today!

U10s v St Neots - Away

The U10s travelled over to St Neots for the first time. Having never played the side before, there was some trepidation over the size and quality of their team and with us only having an 8 player squad on the day. But the team did the club proud and stepped up to the challenge.

There was clear improvement in rucking and ripping the ball that created many try scoring opportunities, with many of them converted. The team truly worked together, supporting the player with the ball at all times.

At the end of the game the St Neots Coach complimented both teams on the quality of the rugby played today and we as coaches couldn't agree more. Billy & Pete.
