The Minis played their first games of the season last Sunday. Despite not all of the results going their way, they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to their next match.
Under 7s
On Sunday morning our under 7s had their first game of the season against Bletchley. Despite only having 5 players available, they wasted no time getting settled into their games. They may have lost both games but they all played really well and are looking forward to their next fixture.

Under 10s
On Sunday morning our under 10s took to the field in there first game of the season. After a slow start they started to play some good rugby with Harry Wildman running half of the pitch snd bouncing his way through the tackles to score. Unfortunately we lost 4 try’s to 1.
After a little break we took to the field for our second game. We started the game really quick with some really good phases of play. We scored our first try of the second game with Harry Greaves dotting down his first try. We won the game 3 try’s to 2.
Our player of the week was Bradley. He made some brilliant runs and tackled well, winning a lot of turnovers.

Under 11s
S&L U11s get their season off to a flying start. Captain, Noah Rogers, led his team to victory in the opening game of the season away to Kettering. The boys started strong with tries from Kai Manson giving the visitors an early lead. Excellent defending, great team work in attack and a few more tries from Noah Cole and Kai Manson ensured S&L kept hold of the lead throughout the match. There was some great rugby played by both sides, in what was a fun and exciting opener to the new season. Thank you to everyone who took part and to Kettering for hosting.

Under 12s
S&L U12s travelled to Bletchley today for their first game of the season. Excitement and optimism flowed as the boys wore their new kit, kindly sponsored by La Fonte, and the performance didn't disappoint. Over 50 minutes of free-flowing rugby and the lads only conceded 1 try. They were constantly trying to put into practice everything we have been working on in training. The result, 19 tries and 16 very happy boys! Bletchley were great hosts and we look forward to welcoming them to Occupation Road later in the season.
