S&L U15s welcomed Long Buckby to Occupation Road looking to even up the scores after a close contest earlier in the season.
Playing downhill, but into the wind, first half S&L used their string runners well and exploited the space out wide to run in five first half tries. Buckby responded with one.
The second half started a little sluggish as the team let their intensity drop. A quick 'talking to' behind the posts got the focus back and the lads finished strongly with 6 further tries.
Final score was 62-22 with tries from Sol (4), Ben (2), Jaiden (2), Thomas and Zak (first for the club). 6 conversions for Harvey.
A fantastic effort from all and the exercises from training really shone throughout the game. Looking forward to next week's home game!
