A really tough and competitive friendly for the S&L U16s against Kettering.
Tries: Owen x2, Caleb

S&L will feel this was one that got away. Despite the narrow 17–19 defeat, the boys put in a huge effort and arguably should have come away with the win.
The game where the margins were incredibly tight ultimately being decided by a single try.
Player awards:
Coaches’ Player: Jenson
Kettering’s Man of the Match: Owen
A fantastic recognition for Owen, especially being selected by the opposition. Plenty of positives to take from the performance, and the boys can be proud of the fight they showed.
