A brilliant performance from the whole squad. The boys showed excellent attacking rugby, strong defence and a real team spirit throughout. A clean sheet and 50 points is a fantastic way to begin the East Midlands Cup journey.
S&L u14/15s 24 vs Casuals 32
A much improved performance from last week had S&L just pipped at the post by Casuals.
The whole team perfomed well with threats from ball in hand acorss the team, the u14/15s were compettitive throughout the match resulting in Ben showing off his pace on the outside for a couple of scores.
In the pack Noah showed strength and power for some key line breaks resulting in him being awarded the man of the match award.
Good signs for the rest of the season and hopefully now the boys can build on this for next week.

Great game today and another strong performance from all players,
The forwards played very strong winning most of the rucks getting the quick ball out to the backs where we used the width and had some great individual runs
We filled the field in defence not let rushden make any meters keeping them under a lot of pressure,
natan second get and has now just set the bar for the best tackle season which will be hard to beat ,
JJ as captain lead by example with great game play management, and all round game play won the coaches Motm
